The Knight Riders Team History
- Fall 1999
- •We teamed with Flint Northwestern's Robotics Team
- •We competed in the Chief Delphi Invitional
- 2000 - Co-opertition
- •We had 14 mentors and 23 students
- •We attended the Great Lakes Regional, The West Michigan Regional, and the Championships in Florida
- •Our robot was named K.I.T. - Knights In Technology
- •We started to sponsor our LEGOs team
- 2001 - Diabolical Dynamics
- •We attended the Chief Delphi Invitional and took 3rd place
- •We attended the Great Lakes Regional, the West Michigan Regional, and the Championships in Florida
- 2002 - Zone Zeal
- •This year we attended the Great Lakes Regional, The Houston Regional, and the Motorola Regional
- •We helped sponsor the Kettering Kickoff in September
- •We received the Top Dog Award with teams 322 and 48
- 2003 - Stack Attack
- •We attended the Great Lakes Regional, the West Michigan Regional, and the Championships in Houston, Texas
- •We helped sponsor the Kettering Kickoff
- 2004 - Raising the Bar
- •We attended the Great Lakes Regional, the Motorola Regional, and the West Michigan Regional
- •We made the Semi-finals at the West Michigan Regional, but lost because of a broken cable
- •In September, we helped sponsor the Kettering Kickoff
- •In October, we attended the Sweet Repeat
- 2005 - Triple Play
- •We attended the Great Lakes Regional, and the Detroit Regional
- •We took 2nd place at Detroit
- •In July, we attended the Indiana Robotics Invitational
- •In September, we helped sponsor the Kettering Kickoff. We took 2nd place
- 2006 - Aim High
- •We attended the Detroit Regional, the Great Lakes Regional (Where we made it to the semi-finals), and the Championships in Florida (Where we made it to the quarter-finals in the Newton Division)
- •We received the Johnson and Johnson Sportmanship Award from the Detroit Regional
- •In September, we helped sponsor the Kettering Kickoff
- 2007 - Rack-N-Roll
- •In March, we organized, sponsored, and hosted the Automation Alley Vex Tournament at Flint Southwestern Academy
- •We attended the Detroit Regional and the West Michigan Regional
- •We received the Rockwell Automation Innovation in Control Award at the Detroit Regional
- •In September, we helped sponsor the Kettering Kickoff. We received the High Score of the Day award
- •In December, we organized, sponsored, and held the Michigan Vehicle City Tech Tournament at Flint Southwestern Academy (formally known as the Automation Alley Vex Tournament)
